About Us

Fred Bourne trained at Merrist Wood College, Guildford, gaining an HND (Higher National Diploma) in Landscape Contract Management. He then furthered his qualification to a BSC (Hons) in Environmental Management at the University of the West of England (Bristol).

Following university, Fred spent eight years in Bristol working for English Landscapes as the Contracts Manager for the South West. During this time he was involved in a broad range of large-scale domestic and commercial projects including Bristol International Airport and Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre (for which he won the BALI National Award).

Fred established The Landscape Works in 2004 and has been successfully running it ever since.
